The Hoops Kitchen is built around one goal: real and measurable skill development for the elite and aspiring player — individual and small-group training rooted in the discipline and focus gained from a competive Naval Academy playing career.
A four-year guard for the United States Naval Academy, Coach David brings the same standard of preparation and discipline from the Academy hardwood — and twenty-two years of Naval service — to every training session. Training is paired with a data-driven, technology-supported approach to skill development, giving every athlete a clear, measurable picture of their own progress. The Hoops Kitchen was built on a simple belief: fundamental excellence and real basketball skill development comes from focused individual and group work, not crowded gyms.
1-on-1 sessions and small groups of up to six, built around shooting and scoring mechanics, footwork, and decision-making — developed one deliberate rep at a time.
As a 6'5" wing built around shooting lethality and finishing at the rim, David's own game is rooted in fundamental excellence — the same standard every athlete trains to here.
Every session is supported by the same class of shot-tracking and performance technology used at the professional and collegiate level — so progress is documented, not assumed (coming soon).
“The Hoops Kitchen is building toward a permanent home for serious basketball skill development on the Lower Eastern Shore.”
